Panama Case: No corruption charges against Nawaz, says Abid Sher Ali

PMLN leader Abid Sher Ali said there were no corruption charges against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. “Even the supreme court did not say anything about corruption against Nawaz Sharif”, he said.

Abid Sher Ali was present in the supreme court to hear the final judgement in the Panama case against Nawaz Sharif and his family.

He severely criticized his opponents for what he termed “political victimization” against the ruling Sharifs. “The nation will remember those who plotted against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif”, he further said.

A five member panel of supreme court judges today decides on the Panama case verdict. Two judges have already disqualified Prime Minister among the five. If any one more judge decides to go with the two judges after the findings of the JIT, then Nawaz Sharif stands disqualified.
