Panama Case is nothing in front of Hudaibiya Paper Mills case, Sheikh Rasheed

Awami Muslim League Chairman Sheikh Rasheed said Panama Case was nothing in front of Hudaibiya Paper Mills case. He said if Supreme Court reopened Hudaibiya Paper Mills case then it will engulf the whole Sharif family, including Shehbaz Sharif and Ishaq Dar.

He said if Supreme Court only sent a reference against Nawaz Sharif without disqualifying him under articles 62 and 63 of the constitution, then it would mean nothing.

“I told judges if they were not going to disqualify Nawaz Sharif then there was no need to send any reference against him,” said a flamboyant Sheikh Rasheed.

On a question whether he knew who Nawaz Sharif was going to nominate for prime ministership in case of a unfavorable decision against him, he said: “I don’t know, but if it was Khawaja Asif then it means Nawaz Sharif wants to send a strong message to Chaudhry Nisar, Shehbaz Sharif and even Ishaq Dar.”

He further said he gave Imran Khan all the credit for pursuing Panama case against Sharifs. “Imran Khan did not let the nation forget Panama Case as many in PMLN had hoped they would.”
