Imran Khan Supports Peshawar Zalmi; Hands Over Hayatabad Stadium To The Franchise

Imran Khan today picked up Peshawar Zalmi’s bat in support of the franchise while handing over Hayatabad Stadium to them for development of local talent. He praised the endeavor of Peshawar Zalmi management to groom and promote local cricketing talent.

Imran Khan offered his full support to Javed Afridi, the owner of the franchise, in promoting the game of cricket in the province. “I and KP government will always be there to support your efforts to help promote cricket”, said PTI Chief Imran Khan.

The Peshawar Zalmi management thanked Imran Khan and CM KP Pervez Khattak for trusting them and handing over Hayatabad Stadium to them.

“In a major development, KP government and legendary Pakistan cricket captain Imran Khan has decided to collaborate for the growth of cricket in the region”,  said Javed Afridi, the owner of Peshawar Zalmi team.

“This gesture has raised our hopes and aspirations further and we will continue to support the region in cricketing endeavours with renewed spirit, commitment and vigour”, he further said.

Famous cricket star and member of the Peshawar Zalmi team, Shahid Afridi was also present on this occasion.
