United States to Provide 337 Million USD to Pakistan under Coalition Support Fund

President Obama

The US is expected to provide $337 Million dollars in military aid to Pakistan under the Coalition Support Fund (CSF).

According to reports, the Obama administration has informed the US Congress about its intention to provide the fund after a mandatory 15-day notice period expired this weekend.

Military aid from the US has increased and the main reason for that is the recent operation against terrorists  (Zarb-e-Azb) which was started in 2014, in order to eliminate terrorism from Pakistan.

Pakistan army has been successful in driving the militants from most of the areas of North Waziristan. Only a fraction of area near Afghan border is yet to be cleared which the military sources say would be cleared soon.
