Toronto Shooting in a Drake Hosted Event Leaves Two Dead

Drake Hosted Event Shooting Two Dead
Shooting in a Drake the rapper hosted Toronto nightclub event on Tuesday has resulted in the deaths of two. The victims were a man and a woman in their early to mid-20s.

There were up to 4000 people inside and around the club. The shots were fired inside the club on the exhibition place in Toronto.

The police said that high-profile entertainment figures were in the event, but it is unclear that Drake and Kanye West were there at the time of shooting.

The club said in a statement that about 70 security guards were on duty and that visitors were inspected with metal-detecting wands.

“This was a brazen, large-scale, ongoing firearm incident where our officers and members of the public were directly in the line of fire. We are very lucky that this is not a larger body count, quite frankly,” Toronto Deputy Police Chief Peter Sloly said.

A similar incident occurred in front of Muzik last year when a 28-year-old man was shot after OVO Fest.
