Judicial Magistrate Wajid Minhas on Friday ordered authorities to produce film star Meera before the court on September 19 after issuing a non-bailable arrest. Meera has been avoiding court orders to present before the court in a case filed against her by Mr. Atiq Rehman, her alleged husband.

Mr. Rehman prayed before the court that Meera tied the knot with Captain Naveed while she was still married to him.

While talking to media he claimed that had been receiving life threats and that he has stolen the furniture he had gifted the film star, claims expressly denied by Meera.

Both claims are expressly denied by Meera.  Instead, she has filed a case against Mr. Rehman claiming that he has been threatening to have her murdered.

When the news about the wedding of Captain Naveed and Meera surfaced, Atiq appeared contended that she could not get married to anyone as she remained her lawful wife.
