The ‘under-19 team of the Debating Society of Pakistan’, is currently competing in the World Schools Debating Championships-2015. The competition is going to be in Singapore where they are going to be competing with the hosts, Singapore, on Tuesday.
The team which has remained undefeated in the tournament til now is comprised of 6 students. Asad Zafar Haider (Aitchison), Hamza Tariq (LGS Paragon), Hassan Qaiser (Salamat International Campus for Advanced Studies), Taha Masud (Westminister) and Zainab Hamid (Karachi Grammar School) and coach Sofyan Sultan. They have won all eight of their beginning rounds against teams from Ireland, South Korea and Peru.
