Shawal moon has been sighted in different areas of the country and Pakistan is going to celebrate Eid al-Fitr on Tuesday. Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee chairman Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman announced the news in a press conference held in Karachi. 

Some parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa celebrated Eid today on Monday. Mufti of Masjid Qasim announced that he had received several authentic claims of moon sighting from various areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Thus once again the nation remains divided and people in Pakistan celebrate Eid at different days.
