PTI’s vice president and member core committee, Naz Baloch, claimed on her twitter that Hamid Mir has resigned from Geo TV. If this turned out to be true it is going to be a major blow to Geo Network who just recently lost its famous anchor Kamran Khan.

After Kamran Khan now Hamid Mir also resigns from geo. Geo ab akailay Geo 🙂

Hamid Mir spent few months off  from his show due to getting shot multiple times by unknown people in Karachi. Following the incident Hamid Mir’s brother Amir Mir accused the country’s premier intelligence agency ISI of being responsible for this act.

Geo TV bashed ISI chief for more than 8 hours with his picture splashing on screen. This resulted in getting Geo TV banned for 15 days in addition to a fine of 10 million rupees.

Hamid Mir had to spend many days in hospital due to the incident while many claimed he would not be back to Geo. But he did return and started doing his show by late July.

However, Hamid Mir appeared on his show in the evening and it proved that he hadn’t resigned.
