Down the memory lane with Harry Potter

If you’ve been part of the magical journey of Hogwarts with Harry Potter for 20 years then you’ll be excited to know there are two more books releasing soon. The new books will placed for exhibition in the British library this fall by the Bloomsbury publisher to celebrate the 20-year-anniversary of the Harry Potter series.

The books however will not be stories but in fact an addition to the background of the magical world of Hogwarts for the Potterheads.

One of the book is called “Harry Potter: A History of Magic”,  which further narrates and guides the reader to know more about the many subjects that were taught in Hogwarts school of magic and wizardry.

The second book “Harry Potter, A Journey through a History of Magic”, is a historical visit to the magical Harry Potter world of witchcraft, spells and magical creatures. Mystical subjects including unicorns, alchemy and ancient witchcraft are also an important part of this book.

The books will include sketches and manuscript pages by the author J.K. Rowling that were never seen before.

Last 26th June completed twenty years of the first book in the Harry Potter series, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone”. Seven more books were released later on during these twenty years. The books sold 450 million copies in 29 languages. It also made a $7 billion movie franchise.

The two new books will be a part of the growing harry potter franchise which also includes the latest play released “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” and the Harry Potter Warner Brothers Studio tour, in north London.

These new books in the series are expected to be released on 20th October, 2017 in conjunction with the exhibition “A history of magic” which will feature the work of the author JK Rowling throughout February 2018. The exhibition will also include manuscript and original archives by the author.
