Abdul Ghafoor — a Bangladeshi citizen — reached Quetta Press Club on Sunday to share his unpleasant story with media personnel and to request the government of Pakistan to send him to his country.

According to Mr. Ghafoor, he went to Saudi Arabia in 2000 to perform Hajj and there he lost his passport and other necessary documents.

Ghafoor then found himself deported by various countries until he reached Pakistan.

After some time, the Saudi government deported him to Iraq from where he was deported to Iran. The Iranian government in return deported him to Pakistan.

Since then he has been living in Farooqiya Madrasa situated at Quetta’s Wahdat colony.

“It’s been fifteen long years,” said Abdul Ghafoor.

“Now I want to go to my own country, to my own people, but I can not do so without any legal documents.

“I request all human rights organizations and especially the government of Pakistan to help me and send me to my own country Bangladesh,” he said impatiently.

According to Abdul Ghafoor he is from Bangladesh’s Muradpur city of district Sherpur. He can be contacted by this number: 0345-8379934.
