Tens of thousands turn up at PTI’s Islamabad Jalsa

Tens of thousands of people have arrived in Islamabad to take part in Tehreek-e-Insaf’s 30 November Jalsa at Islamabad’s D-Chowk. PTI chief Imran Khan is expected to announce his future course of action which he termed would shake the core of PMLN government.

During the past few days, press conferences of government ministers hinted at possible violence in the Islamabad Jalsa of Tehreek-e-Insaf, however despite all those threats, mammoth of people have arrived in Islamabad. Even so, a large percentage of the participants are women.

Imran Khan had claimed that his 30th November rally would be the start of a new phase in his struggle against the electoral fraud that happened in 11th May 2013 general elections.

“If government did not agree to our demand of a free and fair investigation of electoral fraud of 2013 general elections, then it would become too difficult for them to run their government”,  said Imran Khan while warning Nawaz government.

While addressing the rally, KP chief minister Pervez Khattak lambasted the remarks of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar when he said that if government wanted they could send mere 50 police personnel to disperse the participants of Dharna on D-chowk. “If you have any guts I dare you to disperse us from here”, said a furious Pervez Khattak.

Awami Muslim League chief, Sheikh Rasheed, on this occasion said that if Imran Khan allowed people were ready to oust the corrupt government in an instant.
