It all started on the sets of Game of Thrones season 2 when Jon Snow aka Kit Harington who knew nothing at the time met Ygritte played by Rose Leslie. Their on-screen chemistry left fans in awe, and although they couldn’t become one on GOT’s fairy-tale world, everyone wondered if they could be a real-life couple.

Turned out Kit and Rose did see a future together outside the sets of the Game of Thrones. They started dating since 2012 and according to reports Kit recently proposed to Rose Leslie over a candlelight dinner. Kit and Rose both have denied rumors regarding their engagement though.

Rumor or not , the couple is already living together at a medieval 15th century timber home in the English countryside which they bought for $1.9 million.

Friends close to both Kit and Rose also agree they are not officially engaged yet. A friend from Rose side said Kit simply popped the marriage question over a candlelight dinner but it wasn’t an official proposal.

For now it looks like the King in the North and Ygritte are just enjoying their life together.

They were recently seen together on the premiere of Game of Thrones’s season seven at Los Angeles. Kit was quite upbeat about his relationship with Rose.

“I think that’s the really special thing about it is that we met on this show and here we are seven years down the line back here promoting season seven”, he said on the red carpet.

However, both are very private about their personal lives and do every effort to keep their private lives away from the discussions of tabloids.

As far as marriage is concerned, it’s just a matter of time. They already have moved in together which is a big step in a relationship. Other than that, who knows whats cooking beyond the walls.
