An extremist Jewish attacker stabbed and wounded six participants, including one woman, at an annual gay pride parade in Jerusalem on Thursday.
The wounded were rushed to the hospital where two of them are said to be in a serious condition.
About 5000 people were marching when a man suddenly plunged into the crowd and started stabbing people, witnesses said.
“We heard people screaming, everyone ran for cover, and there were bloodied people on the ground,” a witness told Israel’s Channel 2.
According to reports, the same person had assailed three marchers at a similar Jerusalem event in 2005 and was jailed for it.
