PMLN leader and member of Punjab Assembly, Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri, while reminding Pervez Elahi of his role in constructing Kalabagh Dam said that Mr. Elahi was very powerful during Parvez Musharraf’s time; if he wanted he could have constructed the dam.

He was responding to Mr. Elahi’s earlier demand of asking the government to build the dam.

He further said that it would be better if Pervez Elahi and his party worked on constructing the Dam.

Earlier, Pervez Elahi, former Chief Minister Punjab and Deputy Prime Minister, had asked the government to build Dams especially Kalabagh Dam to protect the people from floods.

According to Elahi, the only solution to save the country from floods and electricity shortage is constructing Dams.
