Famous blogger Brandon Stanton who runs ‘The Humans of New York’ blog is going to visit Pakistan this August to gather stories. Brandon was to visit Pakistan last year but he couldn’t due to visa issues.

‘Humans of New York’ is a blog that shares the stories of common men in such an awesome way that it has inspired thousands of bloggers from all over the world. The blogger has a total of 14,205,847 followers on Facebook and over 3.5 million on Instagram, at the moment.

Brandon Stanton recently posted on his page, “Continuing in the tradition of last summer, I’m going to be traveling during the month of August and posting stories from overseas. Only this time I’ll be visiting two countries instead of trying to span the world because that was exhausting, and it also caused my poor senile dog to forget my existence. The first stop is Pakistan. Hope you enjoy.”

Brandon had a world tour last year that included about 50 countries, but he couldn’t visit Pakistan due to visa issues. His fans in Pakistan had been heartbroken due to him not being able to visit their country.

Responding to the calls of his Pakistani fans he said that this time he will make sure to sort out the visa issues in time.

“Hey guys, Pakistan was near the top of my list of places I wanted to go– but the visa didn’t come through in time. The trip was approved by the UN just two weeks before I left, so it was a mad scramble to get all the visas I could get. I inquired at the Pakistani consulate if there was ANYTHING I could do to rush, but they said it would be 7 full business days. Since I only had one passport and needed several more visas, I just couldn’t do it. But I know how many HONY fans are in Pakistan, and I do see all your messages, and it does break my heart a bit, because I really wanted to show my appreciation to all of you by visiting you and gathering stories. Just know that I have my heart set on a future visit,” said Brandon.
