Tehreek-e-Insaf spokesman Fawad Chaudhry told reporters outside Supreme Court premises that PTI has provided complete party funding detail in the court. He said the documents contained detail of each and every person from whom PTI received funding.

He lambasted PMLN leadership for criticizing PTI for receiving funding from overseas Pakistanis. He said overseas Pakistanis were more patriotic than the ruling Sharifs.

“Overseas Pakistanis send billions of dollars to Pakistan every year.

“Pakistan is dependent on overseas Pakistanis because their remittances help us run the country.

“If PTI has received party funding from overseas Pakistanis then there was nothing wrong with it”, explained Fawad Chaudhry.

On the other hand, Hanif Abbasi, PMLN petitioner in the disqualification case against Imran Khan, said even though PTI had provided documents, they were not verified. He said he was confident that Imran Khan was going to get disqualified.
