Pakistani and International Establishments bent on hijacking upcoming elections says Farooq Sattar

anp-mqm-pppPakistani and International establishments are involved in this heinous crime of stealing the mandate of left-wing liberal political forces, said Faruq Sattar in a joint press conference with Awami National Party’s Shahi Said and Peoples Party’s Rehman Malik here in Nine Zero. He said that the upcoming elections are being hijacked and efforts are being done to bring right-wing parties into power. Not all parties are being provided a level playing field and it has been decided to keep out all moderate and pro development parties from the electoral process.

Shahi Said on this occasion said that TTP has clearly said that they won’t allow three parties to contest elections, ANP, MQM, and PPP. He said that they were not afraid of those terrorists and were prepared to give more sacrifices.

Rehman Malik said that he vividly remembered Altaf Hussain’s warning about the possible Talibanization of Karachi. He said that people made fun of him when he said there would be massive bloodshed in the name of sectarianism but he as an interior minister knew the reality. He lambasted both PTI and PMLN and said that one is carrying his bat with him and the other a lion in his armpit, but, they were not interested in the security of the country. They should first care for Pakistan and join hands with them against extremism. He asked both PMLN and Tehreek-e-Insaf to come clean on their terms with the Taliban. There had to be some unwritten agreement between them and the Taliban due to which they are allowed to hold rallies even in Swat and Tribal Areas.
