Pakistan Struggling in Second Innings against England in 3rd Test

Pakistan Captain Misbah ul Haq plays a reverse sweep.

Pakistan cricket team is struggling in their second innings to give a decent total to the England on Day 4 of the 3rd test match. Pakistan was bowled out on 234 in their first innings and they started their second innings trailing 76 runs.

Pakistan has scored 259 in their second innings with just 187 runs lead at the cost of 6 wickets down.

Muhammad Hafeez showed resistance to the English bowlers by scoring 151 runs. However, he got out while trying to hit a big shot on Moeen Ali’s bowl.

Asad Shafiq and Sarfraz Ahmed are present at the crease trying to save the day for Pakistan.

Pakistan leads the series 1-0 and will be happy to steer the third test towards a draw. England on the other hand, is looking to level the series 1-1 without allowing Pakistan to accumulate a big total.

Pakistan stands 4th in the ICC test ranking trailing behind England which is at 3rd position. Winning this test will get Pakistan 3rd position on the ICC test ranking list.
