Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is celebrating the historic disqualification decision against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and is terming it the dawn of a new era in Pakistan’s political history. “Today we celebrate the start of the Naya Pakistan”, said Jahangir Tareen.

The Supreme Court in its unanimous decision disqualified Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and directed the Election Commission of Pakistan to “immediately” put out a disqualification notice against the Prime Minister.

Furthermore, the Supreme Court directed NAB to file a reference against Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Hussain Nawaz, Hassan Nawaz, Captain Safdar, and Ishaq Dar.

The reference is to be filed in 6 weeks and should be disposed of in 6 month time. Additionally a judge of the Supreme Court will monitor the progress of the NAB.

Fawad Chaudhry said Pakistan had won a World Cup against the corruption in the leadership of Imran Khan. He said 9 NAB cases would be opened against Sharif family.

He further said the Supreme Court verdict didn’t have an explicit disqualification order against Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and for that PTI will have to contact Election Commission for that.
