The much awaited Masala Awards 2015 were held in Dubai last weekend. Pakistani stars spotted in the event include Farhan Saeed, Sanam Saeed, Mahira Khan, Urwa Hocane, Freiha Altaf, Deepak Perwani and Faraz Manan.

The award show was rocked by different performances. However, the most enjoyable one was of Farhan Saeed whose consecutive performances to the songs Halka Halka Suroor, Main Tainu Samjhawan Ki, and Wo Lamhey stole the show.

Besides his amazing performances, Farhan Saeed won the ‘Most Promising Singer’ award for the year 2015.

Another award which was bagged by a Pakistani celebrity Mahira Khan was ‘Best Actress’ award for the movie Bin Roye.

Over the years, the award show has become a touchstone of success with the trophy symbolising the community’s immense contribution in various fields. Last year Pakistani celebrities to win the award were Fawad Khan for ‘Best Debutant of Bollywood’ for Khoobsurat while Humaima Malik received an award for ‘Best Breakthrough performer of the Year.’
