Sitting with my laptop on, thinking how to get over this. I stand in front of the mirror. I stare at myself. I see what I’ve got and what I don’t. I look at myself the way I never did. I ask myself why do I need to settle for something less than I deserve? Why should I go for someone who doesn’t match my standard?

Why can’t I wait for the one who will admire every single thing about me? Someone, who will cherish every moment spent with me? Why should I lower myself for someone who doesn’t give a thought about me? Why shouldn’t I wait for someone who will sing for me ‘Kabhi Kabhi mere dil mein khayal ata hy keh jese tujh ko banaya gaya ho mere liye?’

Why can’t I wait for someone who won’t refuse to make exceptions for me? Why should I not accept the fact that He, the most merciful, has chosen someone way better for me?

You see, we all are rushing towards our desires. Being a girl of this era, I long for a guy who will love me for real. However, we need to make a distinction between an ordinary guy and the right guy. All we need to do is have a little faith in God and not rush ourselves in reaching a decision.
