Imran Khan’s Tehreek-e-Insaf shows off strength in Murree today

Imran Khan Murree

Tehreek-e-Insaf held a Jalsa at New Murree today. A large number of people were present on this occasion to listen to Imran Khan’s speech. Just one day ago PMLN chief Nawaz Sharif held a public rally here in Murree and had claimed that majority of youth supported his party.

Imran Khan said that there was a huge difference between today’s rally of Tehreek-e-Insaf and that of Nawaz Sharif’s. He further said that in the upcoming election the true fight is going to be between Junoon VS Noon. He again reiterated his stance and asked Nawaz Sharif to have a one on one televised discussion with him. Imran Khan’s view is that in all the developed countries of the world, the chiefs of political parties hold such dialogues and let their voters decide who to vote for. However, Nawaz Sharif is consistently ignoring this demand of Imran Khan.

Moreover, Imran Khan questioned the claims of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz to rid the country of its gloomy ordeal. He said that if they could not do this in their five terms when they were in power, how could they do it this time.

Murree has been an impregnable stronghold of PMLN from a long time. They have consistently won the seat of this constituency since 1988. However, this time with the surge of Imran Khan’s Tsunami, it looks like there is going to be a tough fight here and it is impossible to say with certainty that which Party is going to win here. It is going to be interesting to see whether the people of Murree are going to vote for change or that the PTI claim to bring or just stick to their long time favourites.
