Federal minister of Water and Power, Khawaja Asif, has blamed PTI chairman Imran Khan of receiving illegal tariff concessions by having three electricity meters at his Zaman Park House in Lahore. Khawaja Asif said two meters in his house were on Shaukat Khanum’s name and one on Imran Khan’s name.

“This is done to avail concessional tariff meant only for the lower income consumers”, said Kh. Asif via a tweet.

Kh. Asif further said that Tehreek-e-Insaf’s vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi had eight meters on his name for the same purpose.

He retorted that Shah Mehmood was truly following his leader’s footsteps.
